Did you know...

...there's a connection between inflammation in the body and the development of diseases, such as acid reflux, arthritis, heart disease, type 2 diabetes, kidney failure, chronic pain and so much more?

The good news is that much can be done to relieve or reverse today's inflammatory issues!

In this class, you'll learn...

  • The difference between acute and chronic inflammation

  • Common contributors to inflammation, and how it harms our systems

  • Which foods are inflammatory vs anti-inflammatory (and why)

  • What you can do to find relief from inflammatory issues

Your body is always striving to heal.

Many lifestyle factors contribute to chronic inflammation, but DIET is by far the biggest determinant. This class will demonstrate how a whole food, plant-based diet - complete with delicious versions of burgers, pastas, comfort foods, and desserts - can correct the underlying cause of inflammation and allow your body to heal.

What Others Have to Say...

Autoimmune Skin Disease Dormant

by Linda Z.

"The transformation to a whole food, plant-based diet has not only helped me lose weight, it has diminished an autoimmune disorder I have called Hailey and Hailey disease, a rare skin disorder which causes the dermis to blister, become infected, form lesions, and eventually cause a topical yeast infection. Extreme bouts led to serious pain, and the flare-ups lasted for months at a time. I can honestly say that I do not have outbreaks of this disorder anymore. My dermatologist is amazed that my skin autoimmune disease has been dormant. I attribute all of this to the new lifestyle of plant-based eating."

Reduced Inflammation

by Denise V.

"My journey into whole food, plant-based eating may not look like most. I was not overweight - however, I was a sick size 4. I've been petite my whole life, but I have also struggled with unhealthy eating habits and unhealthy body image issues. July 18, 2016, was my first day of WFPB eating and I've never looked back! This way of eating has severely reduced inflammation, acne, menopause symptoms, and my unhealthy body image. It's funny - I eat more than ever and love the way I look more than ever!"

Relief from Aches and Pains

by Kim C.

"I always though I could eat whatever I want. I took Motrin at least twice a week for neck pain that led to headaches. I suffered from an overactive thyroid and colds and flu that took me down. I accepted ailments as a part of "getting older." I changed my diet to whole plant-based foods and quickly observed that my mood and sense of well-being leveled out. I have considerably fewer aches and pains and rarely reach for the pain meds. I have more energy, feel much better, and have far fewer colds and bouts with the flu. My thyroid doctor thought it would be just a matter of time before I needed to take meds; it's been ten years so far with no need for thyroid meds."

I used to take 8 meds

by Tim P.

(excerpts) "I lost some weight on Atkins and thought I was doing okay. Their plan tied nicely into my meat-eating habits. I always had the nagging feeling that eating all that animal fat and bacon was going to clog my arteries, because I already had a stent and was diagnosed with heart disease. Then one day I noticed my skin turning a yellowish color. I discovered I was stressing my liver to the point of failing. Liver failure due to unused proteins. Thus the yellow skin tone, muscle aches and fatigue. Whole food, plant-based eating has cured me of reactive hypoglycemia, plantar fasciitis, severe arthritis, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart disease, obesity, and feelings of fatigue. I used to take 8 meds. Now zero. The various medical professionals I was seeing cured nothing and only medicated my symptoms. I am living proof of what a plant-based diet can do for your health."

Doc says cured!

by Doug M.

(excerpts): By my 45th birthday, I found myself tipping the scales at 355 lbs. and still gaining. I was diagnosed with high blood pressure, sleep apnea, plantar fasciitis, and type 2 diabetes. Two weeks after starting a whole food, plant-based diet, my foot pain just stopped. By week four I had stopped taking my blood pressure meds and diabetes meds because the pressure and sugar would go too low. After 18 weeks of a 100% WFPB lifestyle, I visited my doctor. I had lab work done in advance and hadn't told him I'd discontinued my meds (Note: Doug monitored himself closely!) The doctor looked at the report and asked "so what have you been doing?" I told him about being 100% plant-based, losing 115 lbs and finding the need to discontinue meds. He told me there was no doubt in his mind I had cured myself of all my ailments."
